Where Have I Been?

Two years ago, I spent a week in hospital. They found I had developed Type II diabetes with a blood sugar level well over 400--not good!  Not only did this change my life in terms of eating, but it had a major impact on my memory.  

Over time, my memory has returned to where it is about 97% back to "normal." The one aspect with which I still have difficulty is being able to read, or more specifically, being able to retain what I've read.  Needless to say, this has made reviewing extremely difficult.  

The good news is that my retention is getting better, I'm still contributing quarterly to "Mystery Readers Journal," and I hope to return to reviewing very soon.
