Have you ever had the sense, the immediate recognition, that "Yes, this is home."?  I have twice been struck by that visceral reaction:  The first time I visited New England and the moment I landed in France.  Never have I had such an internal feeling of belonging somewhere and an absolute certainty, as one who believes absolutely in reincarnation, of having lived there before.  These are the places that cause my soul to sing.
