In 2003, I visited Oregon with a friend.  One of the places we went were the Oregon Caves and they were fascinating.  The caves are unique in that they are marble, yet filled with stalactites and stalagmites, and formations called flowstone.  If you are in the area, they are definitely worth a visit.
